Our referral-based foodbank ensures those in need are supplied with healthy and nutritious food to prepare fresh meals for themselves and their families.
Our foodbank supplies those in need with healthy and fresh food to those struggling.
We regularly purchase fresh fruit and vegetables to include in our parcels. We also rely heavily on donations to our Foodbank from local businesses and those who support the foundation.
We have received funding from a variety of funders including Celtic Foundation and Glasgow Council for the Voluntary Sector to ensure food parcels include nutritious food, fresh fruit and vegetables and items bespoke to recipients needs eg baby food, children’s healthy snacks, halal meet or photo visual recipe books for households with learning or language difficulties.
Each parcel is hand-prepared by our volunteers and can be collected Monday – Friday 10am – 3pm by request..
